Stainless Steel Boat Bollard (Bollard / Cleat): High-Strength Connection

Cleats and bollards, which ensure that boats, yachts, and mega yachts are safely moored to the dock or marina, are one of the most important safety equipments of the deck. During stormy weather, thousands of kilos of pulling force applied to the boat by the wind are directly borne by these equipments via mooring ropes. Sami Marin produces 316L stainless steel bollards that not only create visual elegance on the deck but can also carry incredible loads without breaking.

Monoblock Casting Quality and Mirror Polish

Low-quality or hollow (pipe-type) bollards run the risk of bending, breaking, or separating from their welds in the first severe storm. To leave no room for this safety vulnerability, Sami Marin applies a production process well above standards.

  • Solid Structure and Unbreakability: Our products are manufactured by casting from 316L (A4) grade stainless steel, which has the highest corrosion resistance, and CNC machining from solid material. They pass horizontal and vertical shear load tests to comply with maritime standards.
  • Rope Protecting Curves (Radius): Angular or rough bollards cause mooring ropes to wear and break due to friction. Sami Marin bollards are designed with oval and smooth lines that allow the ropes to slide safely.
  • Flawless Mirror Finish: Not just a mechanical equipment but also a prestigious ornament of the yacht deck, the bollards are hand-polished by our expert craftsmen until they reach mirror brilliance.

Models According to Deck Types

We produce classic cleats for sailboats, T-Type bollards for motor yachts, and huge heavy-tonnage deck bollards for mega yacht projects. The stud and backing plates connected under the deck distribute the pulling load evenly to the deck floor, preventing the cracking of the boat's gelcoat or fiberglass.
